Chat

Questions you ask the chat assistant are logged anonymously for two reasons: (1) so Matthew can see what recruiters are asking about and improve the assistant's answers, (2) so an aggregated, de-identified topic map can be shown publicly at /insights (Phase 2).

Each session ID is a one-way hash of your IP address plus a daily rotating salt. Raw IP addresses are never stored. Names, emails, and anything else you write into a chat message are also not attached to any identity.

Chat transcripts live only in your browser's sessionStorage — they disappear when you close the tab.

Contact form

Submissions are sent via Resend to Matthew's private inbox. He replies from hello@matthew-wolfe.com, an alias routed through Cloudflare Email Routing. No tracking pixels, no forwarding to CRMs.

Analytics

Aggregate request counts are logged for operational purposes (rate limits, error monitoring, spend caps). No third-party analytics scripts run on this site.

Retention

Anonymized chat-question logs are kept rolling 90 days. Contact form submissions are kept in Matthew's inbox indefinitely unless you ask otherwise.
